God Is Good All The Time

I just want to say thank you, Lord, for another day. For the grace you give so freely. For the love of family and friends. For peace, for security, for health, for a good job.

Jesus take the wheel.

I heard something today that I thought made a lot of sense. It is about Gods plan for us. Alot of times we think we have to be in charge and we don't won't to let go of the wheel. We think that God says OK, you drive - I will let go. But he doesn't do that at all. Because he has a plan for us. He doesn't change that. We may get out of the car and he does allow us to do that because we have free will. We may get out of the car and get into a completely different car but he is still waiting in our original car with his hand on our original wheel just waiting for us to see that we can not do it without him. But he doesn't get out of the car and leave us.
Anyway I thought that was neat and a good analogy. It also reminds me of that song by Carrie Underwood Jesus take the wheel.

Thank you, Jesus for taking my sins away when YOU went to the cross.

God's Promise

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.

Many people take the notion that once they become a Christian that life becomes a bed full of roses. That couldn't be further from the truth.

We continue to have hills and valleys. We continue to have sunshine and storms with rainbows in between.

God doesn't take away the storms - but He promises to go through the storms with us.

Dancing With The Stars

I love DWTS. It is my favorite show during this time of year. My favorite right now to win is Sherri - she has so much energy and such a great personality. She is just so comical.  Also it makes me feel like there is hope for me if a woman that large can move like that and have that much energy - that means no excuse for me.
